Frequently Asked Questions about Signs

Q: How much will my sign cost?
A: All signs are generally custom made, which means no two are alike.  We will provide a Scope of Service which outlines every part of your sign project, including the cost.

Q: What is Vector art, and why can’t you use a jpeg?
A:
Vector art is a file that can be re-sized and does not lose its quality.  A jpeg is a photo that loses quality if re-sized.  If you wanted to have your car repaired you couldn’t take the mechanic a picture of your vehicle (jpeg)… you would need to take the car.  In the same way, we can not use a picture, we need the original art to make your sign.

Q: How long does it take to make my sign?
A:
Signs generally are installed no more than 6 weeks after all permits have been cleared.

Q: Will I get a discount if I order several signs?
A:
Sure, why not?  We can combine labor and resources to make more than one at a time…  so we’ll pass that savings straight over to you.

Q: How do I get started.
A: Email us any information, artwork or logos you have.  If you must fax them, that’s okay to start with.  We will eventually need your logo in digital format.  If you do not have a logo or artwork we will be happy to assist you with a professional solution.

Q: Will someone meet with me to talk about my new sign.
A:
Yes we will meet with you at your location to discuss you signage needs, after you have sent over any information you may have about the project.

Q: Can I finance the sign.
A:
Sure. We have a finance company waiting for your call… or, you can supply your own financing from you’re own bank or credit union.

Q: Do I have to get the permits?
A:
No. It’s usually easier for us to get the permits for you.  We understand the application process through and through. We will obtain all necessary sign permits for you for a nominal fee plus cost of permits.  Cost of permits vary from city to city.

Q: Do you give free estimates for sign repair?
A:
We will usually be able to give you a ballpark figure over the phone.  However a service call will be required to know exactly what is wrong and exactly how much it will cost to fix.

Q: How much is a service call?
A:
It depends on what kind of sign and what kind of service.  Our normal service call consists of two technicians and a bucket truck.  Request a service quote to find out the cost.

Q: How soon can the Sign Service Technician come?
A:
We can generally dispatch a technician the next day, sometimes even the same day depending on the time of the request.

Q: Do you offer discounts for owners with several locations?
A:
Yes, of course!  Contact us to find out more details.

Q: Do you offer discounts to us smaller companies?
A:
We do our best to work within your budget when possible.  No matter what the size of the sign project, we assure priority service to all clients.

Q: Can you ship signs out of state?
A:
Yes.  Shipping charges will vary depending on size, weight and distance of travel.

Q: Do you install signs out of state?
A:
Yes.  We will give you a detailed Scope of Service based on where you are located.
